Greetings Race Fans and Welcome to the 2015 FAN TALK newsletter! This newsletter is dedicated to providing you with the most current information concerning eavesdropping on your favorite race teams. Our goal is to get you as close to the action as possible – we what you to feel like you’re a part of a pit crew! Now what other sport will let you do that?

Well folks I have some bad news. Due to the low rental requests for the 2009 season, FanComm will NOT BE OFFERING RENTAL UNITS except by special request. Please email us at FanComm for your special request on 2015 rental units..
So first let me say to all our customers, and especially those that are repeat customers, thanks for all your support throughout the last 12 plus years.
For all our repeat customers we will offer you a great deal on the used equipment you have come to know and love over the years. So please call me so arrange for the very best possible prices.
For any new customers, you too can benefit from our used equipment sales. Look at the Catalog and Specials pages for the used equipment prices.
All of this used equipment will be guaranteed for 90 days and will be in the very best working order when it leave our office. We will continue to support the equipment for as long as possible if you need some maintenance down the road.
Once again, thanks to all of our outstanding customers that have stayed with us over the years.
STANDING ORDERS (Don't wait until the last minute to order your equipment):
We have a program step up to accept your standing orders, and here is how it works. At the beginning of the season, or several weeks BEFORE the race you want to rent equipment, send us your ORDER REQUEST FORM. We will put your order in the computer and hold it for the race you requested. Then about 3 weeks prior the that race, FanComm will send you a confirmation notice that you have ordered equipment. About 2 weeks prior to the date you request the equipment it will be shipped out to you via UPS to arrive on or before the date you requested on the Order Request Form.
We will NOT bill your credit card until the order ships to you.
This will help us to schedule our rentals effectively and allow you to place your order in advance. We hope this will stop the last minute orders that are so hard for us to get out to you, and will allow you to order your equipment before you forget.
Sometimes, through out the year we come across tickets for various races. Please check out the "TICKET" page of our web site.
FanComm introduced several new products last year . One of the NEW and EXCITING items that we introduced was a Intercom in the DOME headset. Look for more information about this produce in the very near future.
There is another NEW scanner out to replace the Uniden SC-200 and the OLD SC-230 Scanners. The new SC-230 has 1600 or 2500 channels to choose from. The BC72XLT has 100 Channels in 10 banks and runs on "AA" batteries. Finally the BR330T has 2500 channels. Please call for the current prices.

This is an important problem that has been neglected over the past years, but is slowly being noticed by the race fans. NASCAR races are generally very noisy and at some of the tracks the noise is over 110 decibels (Db). 90 Db is generally considered the bottom of the harmful range. Any sound over 90 Db for a long period of time can cause hearing loss or damage. The louder the noise the less the time limit for damage exposure.
Please look at our hearing loss web page and remember if your not using FanComms' headsets or hearing protectors, please make sure your using some form of protection.
We are now able to provide the support and equipment that race teams require for driver and crew communications. Please contact us for product and pricing information.
One of the things you can do to help us is to make sure all of the blocks on the rental agreement are completed and the print is legible and easy to read. Also, get your orders and rental agreements in as early as possible so we have time to get them out to you before the race.
I am pleased to announce that FanComm has branched out into other sports arenas. A well known north eastern University has purchased our equipment for use in their basketball spotters and score keepers. I have always known that our equipment could have other uses outside of the racing industry. I will keep you informed as more information becomes available and the basketball season draws to an end.
RENTAL SURVEYS and the EQUIPMENT REPAIR PAGE:
I would like to personally thank all of you who took the time to fill out our surveys last year. I read every one of them and found them to be very helpful for the growth of FanComm. While it is always a nice warm fuzzy feeling to receive words of praise (you can keep those coming), it’s the comments that told us of areas that needed improvement that I really appreciated. I truly value honest, constructive feedback and criticism. Thank you all for caring and helping FanComm grow.!
